An obligation, (a reminder !)
Every citizen, boy or girl, aged 16 is now required to register in the month following his/her birthday at the town hall, provided with an identity card and the family record book of the parents.
You can also do this online (e-census) on the site www.service-public.fr then "recensement, JDC et service national.
